The international jury of the exhibition of artistic bookbindings Scripta Manent VI estimated three artefacts out of 128, from 15 countries, to be awarded with "Golden Book Award". Ten bindings were acknowledged with incentive prizes. An additional special prize was handed out in the category of technique mastery and two best student artefacts received honourable mention. The basis for estimation was proficiency, topicality, experimental creativity and original attitude. The prize fund was supported through contribution of their creative compositions by Estonian artists Ehalill Halliste, Aino Jakobi, Kelli Kagovere, Tarrvi Laamann, Tiia Külv, Sirje Kriisa, Regina Lukk, Viive Noor, Jaan Pärn, Eve Selisaar and Kärt Seppel.
